i feel like the director was doing a bit too much. (lets ignore the actors crappy personality to the mc) sure he was late, but it couldve been an honest accident. picking on an actor, who btw is not your employee but instead your coworker is so so so unprofessional, childish and immature. like i get you want to create boundaries on set but theres a limit; to top it off he isnt some legend master director who is the backbone of the industry, but instead a mid one on the verge of bankrupcy. how does he think he’ll move forward and create classics this way. he doesnt know for sure the guy was late on purpose, and the guy for all his flaws, the actor was never outright rude to him. he cant keep making powerplay and ruining the atmosphere
