This chapter’s main focus is Daigo’s Game Over ending as the LVL2 Gugnir gives him a one heck of the FAFO style reality check that effectively ending his twisted version of a TAS style “playthrough” for good. For all this sucker’s arrogance and such, he sure looks formidable for lasting the battle against LVL9999 for (in-universe) 25 seconds. Then again, his arrogance due to overconfidence for his Mystical/Mythological his weapons is EXACTLY why he meets an undignified end, mainly because of his one fatal mistake: Underestimating the Gugnir by assuming it as a mere “staff” without even realises that it is a Genesis Class. As for Light who narrowly defeats that sucker before his body breaks from the Gungnir’s curse, his one-liner says that the Elemental Twin Blades weren’t even unique even by it’s own class’s standard and the “strongest” title part was just an exaggerated self-proclamation on Daigo’s part. Regardless, the aftermath has left huge mark onto the Tower Town and the chapter ends with the Undertaker King now goes 13-0 which also makes him a Legend Killer, considering the Masters are either revered or feared by the folks on the surface world…
