Dear Boys

Kazuhiko Aikawa is the former captain of Tendōji High's renowned basketball team.

He transfers to Mizuho High School and joins its boys' basketball team.

However, unlike Tendōji, Mizuho's team is far from celebrated—it had been suspended for a year following an incident in which a player struck the former coach.

Despite the team’s troubled past, Aikawa's relentless passion, determination, and talent reignite the spirit of its remaining members, motivating them to regroup and return to the court.

Their shared ambition: to reach the Inter-High, a national stage where the country’s most promising high school players compete.

Thus begins the coming-of-age story of five protagonists:

Takumi Fujiwara, Ranmaru Miura, Tsutomu Ishii, Kenji Dobashi, and Kazuhiko Aikawa — and the revival of Mizuho High’s boys’ basketball team.
